Meet the Team

Phil Smith - Managing Director
Phil starting messing around with computers at the tender age of seven all the way back in 1981 when a friends father showed him his very first computer. Over the years he had many computers including the ZX80, ZX81, Amstrad CPC 464, Commodore 64, Texas Instruments Ti64 before finally moving onto IBM compatible computers at 14 when he studied G.C.S.E. Information Technology, A level Computer Studies and then a H.N.C. in Computer Studies and, from there, on to John Moores University in Liverpool to study for a Bsc.
​The many roles Phil has worked in has seen him working all over Europe and the length and breadth of the U.K. which eventually led Phil to start working for himself as an I.T. contractor. It is from here that MemorySmith Computing was born. After working with Jon & Tracey Elsworth the opportunity arose for MemorySmith Computing to merge with Computers Made Simple and a new partnership was born.
​Toby - Public Relations
Toby lives with his dad, Phil, and often visits the offices to help raise the spirits of the team and any customers that come in. We even have a lot of customers who are disappointed when they pop in and he has a day off.

Nicola Ruxton - Business Account Manager
​Nicola comes from a long background of working in the IT sector and has come on board as our business account manager to handle all of our business clients needs. Whether they be new or old clients - she is dedicated to the aim that all of or business customers can get the level of support, promoting clear communication that is required for a healthy relationship with your IT support company. With her background in dealing with both national and international clients, Nicola is proving a strong addition to the MemorySmith Computing family.

Alex Paba - Support Engineer
​Alex works in the Verwood workshop repairing computers and providing first response support to our residential clients. He has worked hard to learn as much as possible about computer environments and has turned into a first rate computer engineer.

Jon & Tracey Elsworth - Directors
​Jon & Tracey started Computers Made Simple nearly 20 years ago and built up a strong business serving Poole and surrounding areas. They are a husband and wife team and continue to run simplyinks.uk, providing our clients with a cost effective solution to their printing needs.
